Serenity Trauma Healing Center

The creators of the original SERENITY METHOD.

At Serenity Trauma Healing Center for some patients, a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is the best approach. It provides the highest level of care with 30 hours a week of individual therapy. Patients receive five days a week of various types of treatment, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, neurofeedback therapy, fitness, movement, massage, and acupuncture. These treatments target dual-diagnosis patients who have completed other intensive programs and who continue to deal with underlying psychological trauma.

If you’re looking to continue living your day-to-day life while also getting the care you need for anxiety, depression, or addiction, our outpatient care programs are the ideal option. The PHP program is designed to help a wide range of clients including those who have completed:

  • An inpatient program
  • A mental health residential program
  • A drug and alcohol treatment program
  • An eating disorder treatment program

It is also available for clients who are transitioning from a psychiatric hospital or those who are looking for an alternative to residential treatment. Our PHP program is structured and individualized for each client’s needs.

To enroll in this program, you can live in a local sober living home, Airbnb, or you can commute from your residence.

What the Program Involves

The PHP program includes 30 hours a week of individual therapy, which equates to six hours of therapy a day, five days a week.

This outpatient program and the other services we offer are designed to treat dual-diagnosis clients with an emphasis on underlying psychological trauma.

The partial hospitalization program for mental health also includes activities designed to improve your entire well-being. Modalities such as fitness activities and yoga keep you physically and mentally healthy, creating the ideal environment for healing.

Getting Help Doesn’t Have to Take You Away from Daily Life

Many people who suffer from trauma, mood disorders, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, or even drug addiction think that treatment is only available in an inpatient format. While inpatient treatment is an effective method for treating a variety of mental and trauma-based disorders, outpatient services have also proven to be beneficial. In most inpatient programs a patient will have 1 to 5 individual sessions a week; however, in our PHP program, a patient receives 6 individual sessions a day, equaling 30 individual sessions a week.

At Serenity Trauma Center, our partial hospitalization program is available for those who are undergoing trauma, mood disorder, anxiety, drug and alcohol, depression, and other mental health issues that stem from trauma.
